I Wish
Wishes not born from longing, but of remembering the person I am becoming.
I wish I could paint Like the renowned, Like the undiscovered, The highly creative yet unseen In a world where value Is measured by how many eyes look. I wish I could fly Like those who dare To freefall from the sky, Mimicking birds in motion, Brave enough to move, Brave enough to discover. I wish I could swim Like fish flipping their tails, Plunging into the depths, Pushing forward, Exploring the places Unknown to human minds. I wish I had the courage To do all these things and more - To embody a new story, A new me. Not asking permission to be, But asking instead: Do you see yourself here too?

“I wish I could fly
Like those who dare”
What a powerful statement! I really love this.
“Not asking permission to be,
But asking instead:
Do you see yourself here too?”
This is how courage begins.
Painting, flying, swimming these are metaphors for presence.
For risk.
For expansion.
You are remembering who you already are.
