Trust, even now
Even the quiet ache is part of the path.
I sent a wish to the universe
It was heartfelt and full of intent,
Deep longing stirring beneath my soul.
I can manifest pizza,
A new pair of shoes.
They come without resistance.
But this...
This wish—
It takes root in me.
It takes time.
To manifest is to believe that it's already in your grasp, in your hands
To allow your wishes to enter a void,
A void that you can only touch through surrender and trust.
You have to let go
Not because you’ve stopped wanting—
but because wanting too tightly
closes the door you’ve been trying to open.

This poem is so beautiful and relatable!
The way you articulate the difference between manifesting a new pair of shoes and a deeper wish that 'takes root' is so insightful. It's such a challenging yet essential part of the spiritual path to trust the 'quiet ache' and know that sometimes, wanting less tightly opens the door to the very thing we desire. Thank you for this gorgeous reminder of surrender and faith in the process.
Thank you so much for your lovely and uplifting comment.
I’m really glad the poem resonated with you — it truly made my day to hear that.
